A VESA-rated DisplayPort 2.1 (DP80) cable rated for 80Gbps (UHBR20). More than double DP1.4. Built for the resolution and refresh rates that current GPUs and monitors support.

Performance Specifications:

DP2.1, VESA-rated, 80Gbps (UHBR20); up to 16K@60Hz with DSC; uncompressed 8K@120Hz/4K@240Hz/2K@240Hz; Dynamic HDR, up to 12-bit colour; MST multi-monitor support; 32-bit/1536kHz audio.

Engineering & Build:

Braided nylon outer jacket; gold-plated connectors to prevent corrosion.

Compatibility:

Professional workstations, high-end gaming rigs, and multi-monitor desks; any DisplayPort-enabled GPU or display.

Configuration:

Five lengths from 0.5m to 3m

Technical Notes:

16K@60Hz requires DSC and a compatible source/display; 8K@120Hz and 4K@240Hz run uncompressed.

Certification:

All 5 lengths are manufactured on the same production line, to the same construction and materials. Independent certification has been completed for the lengths marked below, with testing ongoing for the rest of the range.

Common Questions

About this cable

If your source and display have matching ports and support the resolution you want, this cable will carry the signal. Check the product specs on the page for bandwidth and feature support.

For 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, shorter runs are generally more forgiving. Our longer runs are still rated for full bandwidth, but if you can keep the cable under 3 metres you'll have the greatest headroom. Choose based on your actual routing distance plus a little slack.

Yes, provided the total run and any joins are rated for the bandwidth you need. If you're running cable inside a wall, we recommend measuring carefully and leaving service loops at each end.

Yes, where your GPU and monitors support MST, our DisplayPort cables carry the full DP feature set including daisy-chaining and high-refresh output.

All listed lengths are tested to maintain the rated bandwidth. For the longest runs we use heavier gauge conductors and tighter shielding, so you get the same clean signal at 5 metres as you do at 1 metre.
